Historical local grocery market. If you need something they probably have it. They also stock some fresh produce.
Great deli with traditional sandwiches if you looking for some lunch. Seating right outside, hang out with local canyonites and get some coffee from lily on the patio.you might even spot a famous celeb. -

Fine if you're in a pinch for some drinks/snacks but this place has slowly gone downhill over the years. The store is pretty dirty, but the last straw for me was going in for a Gatorade. As I made my way to the cooler I noticed the abundance of flies around where they keep the meat and everything for their sandwiches, the little doors were open for all the heat and bugs to get in, and the freezer where they kept the ice cream...the freezer was broken and everything melting, they made a poor attempt to save the ice cream by tossing a few bags of ice over it. Just gross.
On the bright side...everyone's really nice. -

Awesome visit and amazing history, great place to grab breakfast but nothing special. It's a tough place to park and hard to 'get back to' if you miss it. I thought it was fun to visit and the market is really charming.

I'm from New Jersey. My daughter son in law and 3 grandkids live up on Lookout mountain. When I'm visiting, I'm there in the mornings for a coffee on the porch. When I pick up my grandson from school we always stop there for an after school ice cream, or an after dinner (at Pace) treat eaten on the porch with the grandkids. Prices are high for mostly everything, but the history and ambiance make it a winner.

A quaint lil shop with some rich history. You'll need to use you're imaginton to feel the vibe. It's worth a stop in side.
